07 NCAC 04P .0110           BOOK REVIEWS

(a)  If a person asked to write a book review for the North Carolina Historical Review does not reply within a month, the editors shall seek another reviewer.

(b)  The same reviewer shall not be used more than once in any year, except in rare instances where no other equally qualified reviewer can be found for a second book.

(c)  A person who has agreed to review a book for another periodical should not subsequently agree to review the same book for the North Carolina Historical Review.

(d)  Unsolicited reviews shall not be accepted, but a person may request permission to review a particular book, provided the publisher furnishes a copy to the North Carolina Historical Review.
